Amarah Hoosain

Amarah Hoosain is a passionate educator, professional dancer, dance instructor, and wellness advocate based in Abu Dhabi, originally from South Africa. She is the founder of the Poetic Movement International Dance Academy and Poetic Movement Foundation, a non-profit organisation focused on creating real impact through community-driven projects—including feeding schemes, women empowerment initiatives, and support for underprivileged communities. With over six years of experience in education, Amarah blends creativity, compassion, and purpose in everything she does. Her work is rooted in a deep belief in holistic wellbeing, social justice, and creating safe spaces for growth and healing. As the UAE Key Supporter for Global Wellness Day, she is proud to bring her voice, vision, and heart to a global movement for a healthier and more connected world.
