Andrew Jacka

Andrew Jacka, has been involved in the Hospitality industry since 1977 in Australia, England, Hong Kong & Thailand. Since arriving in Thailand in 1995, he has been involved in much of the growth and development of the industry in the kingdom. Joining the independent spa consulting company: Spa Origins Co., Ltd in 2002, he is a passionate believer in the sharing of knowledge. His active role in the Thai Spa Association (TSPA) and the Asia Pacific Spa & Wellness Coalition (APSWC), his journalist works, and guest speaker appearances at international industry events, both as an industry educator, and as a passionate ambassador of the Asian spa industry, are all testaments to his desire to continue to build the professional levels of the spa industry. He is a judge for the HAPA Awards (Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards) based in Malaysia, on the judging panel of the AsiaSpa Awards (Hong Kong) and Chairman of the World Spa & Well-being Convention a tri-part international event, organised by Thai Spa Association which includes the much heralded Thailand Spa & Well-being Awards. He recently launched Spa Origins International, a niche market spa and health care product distribution company in Thailand, and currently also holds the position of Chairman, APSWC, as well as being an Executive Director of the Tourism Technology Association.
