Mario Li Bedregal
I was born on August 22, 1961, in Lima, Peru, to parents Hector Li and Elsa Bedregal. My diverse heritage includes Chinese ancestry from my paternal grandfather and Spanish ancestry from my maternal grandfather. As the third of six siblings, consisting of two women and four men, I grew up with a passion for music and pursued the study of the accordion and guitar. Additionally, I developed an interest in singing and sports during my youth.
My educational journey involved attending two different schools, providing me with a valuable understanding of the diverse realities within Peruvian society. I completed my primary education in a private school and proceeded to pursue my secondary education in a state school. This experience further cultivated my appreciation for the social dynamics within our country.
While attending university, I simultaneously worked at a bank. However, due to the challenging political climate prevailing in the country, I made the decision to relocate to Japan. This move exposed me to a contrasting culture, requiring me to adapt and learn from my surroundings. Over the course of 30 years, I immersed myself in the Japanese way of life, acquiring valuable insights and experiences.
Now that I have returned to my home country, I am dedicated to imparting the knowledge and wisdom I gained abroad to my society. Guided by the philosophy of Ikigai, which emphasizes finding one's purpose in life and embracing daily responsibilities, I strive to inspire others to live their best lives. By encouraging the discovery of individual motivations and honoring the principles of day-to-day existence, I am committed to fostering a positive and fulfilling society
